Issue 22 - Page 13

This issue is extra special because it's a Sponsored Issue! Thank you!

We all remember Ishmael Pyrenees, right? We met him back in Issue 12. Good times, good times.

I got a little carried away with the background this time. So here's a version without the dialog/panels below. Please click on the image to see a larger version.

Nice work as always. Almost took the background image as a photo. Well done.

Wow! That looks amazing! I especially like the illumination around the lamp posts like that. Thanks for including the background image also! Poor Ruby. Innocent words from Ish, but that just sent her worry to new heights!

Love the look on Ruby's face in that last panel! (also the background is great!)
Been missing seeing that lass in the comic... The lightning shot looks glorious.
Well, HI ruby! Been a while! Also, that background? That's my new wallpaper. Dayum!

Again you've outdone yourself, the detail on the background is spectacular to say the least, what terrifically fine detail and love the rain and glow of the street lights. You should work for George Lucas, or Disney!!

One picture is worth a thousand words, I can actually hear the thunder and the rain falling in my mind just from looking at that wonderful background, also can feel the mood it delivers. Just love it.

OK, one more statement, how long did it take you to do the background alone?
Fantastic work.
It is great to see Ruby again! I missed her! Also fantastic job on the background Darc!
...and, in our universe, the Queen is going to have to move because Buck House needs $200-million-plus in repairs - basically, it sounds as if they're going to have to gut it and start over.

Well, they'll just have to raise taxes to pay for it!?
Yup, just what a worried Ruby needs, a seeming confirmation that the Fey are behind Max going missing. You may be a top notch chef, Ish, but you are not good at subtle, calming small talk. ;-)

-heh- He IS a Pyrenees, after all. :)
Nice work! Love the first panel!
Um....where is the next comic? been a month!
