Issue 19 - Page 24

And here we are, at the end of Issue 19. If you'd like to download a copy of this issue, the complete cbz is now available. Please feel free to share the file and help introduce others to CN:H. I don't have much funds for advertising, so telling others is a big help!

I mentioned this earlier on Tumblr, I will be taking a week off between the end of Issue 19 and the beginning of Issue 20. A week's break between issues is a practice I've been trying to establish for a bit now. It gives me some breathing space to gather my thoughts and do any last minute prepping. Issue 20 will begin on the 3rd of July.

In the meantime, we're doing a poll! If you have a moment, please let me know what you'd like to see more of... more "Mail Bag!" comics a month, short CN:H prose stories, extra full color art, video art speed-ups, or something I haven't thought of.

Thanks guys!

nothing I'm stuck on the cliff hangers are I can't wait until I can actually buy the books and read the head again
I'm afraid the comic no longer goes to print. While we were turning a profit on the book sales, I decided I'd prefer to invest the time spent creating and selling books on making the comic. So, we're digital only now. I'm sorry.
Damn. Too bad y'all can't get someone to create/sell books of digital comics you're already making. Or is making a book fundamentally different from webcomic-only?
Printing requires a higher DPI than I currently work at. I shifted from working at 300DPI to 100DPI to help lessen production time per page and to increase the number of updates a week. I would need to go back and redo Issues 15 and up in order to take the comic to print. I do offer free digital downloads of the issues when they're complete and folks are always welcome to donate if they enjoy what I do. While not as profitable, I'm much happier with the current setup. :D
I understand darc . One of these days I'm going to have to bring a flash drive or something so that I can download the digital copies of the books but still it is nice that you're going out of your way to make them for us in the first place.
Well now, color me embarrassed.
Lovely page. Nice way to come out of the prose section as well, with a simple, powerful image to end the chapter, beautifully paced.
Thank you. *blush*
one down.
The next chapter starts on my birthday? Sweet! I can't wait.
Happy early birthday! Matt and I will be on the road that day, heading out to a con.

Well Saldor, we were both wrong. His first boon was accomplishing the mission at hand, stopping the raids.
Yep, called it! Can't wait for Issue 20 =)
Dammit. I owe Darc a buck.
To be fair, I did guess both "setup the Treaty Night" and "end the Hunts/Raids" for different boons. I guess I'm kind of both wrong and right? XD
You'll have to wait and see. Issue 20 starts on July 3rd... Bwahahaha...
Back on Page 21 that is.
WAH! no new pages for a week> Anyways have fun and enjoy your break. Wishing you a safe journey and looking forward to see the next page
Nooooo!!! Cliffhanger! Oh well, I can wait. Good work!

This harks to a comment topic a few comics back, but I don't think Spooky needs to use a boon so he can go back. Being his queen's emissary would require his access to her court and anywhere she might send him, thus negating his being trapped in the Fae realm. (It's been a while, so I forget - he's not trapped in the "present", right?)
Yep, he's still trapped in the present! There's no exceptions for eating fae food.
It is "anything within their power". I suspect that the ability to go home is beyond their power.
Re-read that page carefully. It doesn't say what you think it says...
they can't just be within their power it has to be within his power to command of them as well is that correct?
I was ignoring that. I doubt if the distinction matters for that, but not being Darc I can't say for sure. This story is based on old stories, but need not match 100%. Assuming there WAS a coherent source to begin with.
It did not look like he was a thrall in the present, so if they try to force a third boon, he manages to avoid using it.
