This has to be the fasted inked CN:H page so far. A thoroughly exhausted Saturday and a five hour side-trip Sunday didn't leave much time for weekend inking.

Now Max, remember what Benjamin Franklin said, "never ruin an apology with an excuse." He's young, he'll learn.

Probably took a lot for Spooky to admit that. Takes evenmore to not give in to the temptation setting the example for everyone

I like the combination of Spooky's line and expression in the last panel. It's good that Max is able -and- willing to apologize immediately when he know's he's wrong.
Spooky is stuck in the middle of an unending war. And in war there have always been filled with good people doing the wrong things for all the right reasons. Good read the non-fiction book "A Man Called Intrepid" by Sir William Stevenson if you don't believe me.
I see this very often in the criminal justice field. Folks often find themselves having to choose the lesser of two evils. Not a great place to be in.
